What the Travis PTO does:
Fall Festival, Spring Fling, t-shirt sales, snack and pencil vending, and our small $5 membership fees are our only fundraisers. We would rather have a fun activity than have to sell items from a catalog to raise funds. Your participation will help us provide all the things on this list. Your participation is the key to making all this happen:
Monthly Teacher Appreciation
Provide small incentives for the counselors to use as rewards to kids who fulfill their behavior contracts.
Donate an important item needed for the school grounds. This year we will buy three benches for the front of the school. Longer term, we hope to help buy new curtains for the stage and someday, a programmable electric sign for the front of the school.
Provide a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon twice a year. We will need help for the luncheon in July so be sure to contact us if you
Provide help for school activities and field trips. If you haven’t all ready, be sure to pick up and fill out a Volunteer Application Form from the front desk or TISD Administration building. This will allow you to participate in school activities and chaperone field trips, keeping our children safe!
Provides an important venue for parents to meet each other, share ideas and have some fun together while helping the school, its teachers and students.
